Fresh Thyme grocery store, I came here on Saturday, 2/10/24.Great place, some high prices, some reasonable prices, compared to Cub Foods, where I usually shop. It had great prices on apples per pound, $1.99/lb on average! Enjoy my photos! Very close to Goodwill.

Fresh Thyme has the best produce in the area and they usually have fantastic sales and deals so it can be much cheaper than other stores in the area as well.

I also use their bulk foods section for oats, quinoa, and lentils and have always been satisfied with the product.

That said, the rest of the groceries on offer can be priced a bit higher than the other options around. Even so, I make a point to go to Fresh Thyme for all my produce, it's just worth it.

We were frequent shoppers here for years but after 4 times coming home with an expired item and there being no spinach on the shelf for over a month when I went grocery shopping, I decided it was time to give fresh Thyme a break. Will come back once you start checking the expiration dates and start stocking popular items a bit better.

I was a regular customer at this store until Sat 3-23-2024 around 1PM when I stopped by for couple lbs of salmon. The day before emailed advertise for $7.99lb but the 2 ladies (very RUDE) behind the Fish & Meat kept telling me" $9.99/lb , it must be Chicago price".
I showed them the email, clearly stated the price and the location in Plymouth MN. Chris the meat guy (nice gentleman, used to help me with the meat & fish) he helped me with the fish and told me "show it to the cashier, they'll help you with the price".

Long story short, the overweight with beard won't honor the price, he showed me an internal email stated "error in price, suppose to be $9.99", I told him " I won't buy it" and handed the fish back at him, he took it and ran away like afraid I'm gonna change my mind.

I demanded to talk to the manager, a young man, tall, same thing, showed me the internal email, his attitude kind of cocky. I tried to tell him I drove 7 miles one way and your store mistake but I have to pay for it? Still, like an army sergeant " It's $9.99 buy it or not?"
the overweight showed up...I felt humiliates, shaking, did not know what to say, just thanks them for nothing and calm myself ,

I walked out, sat in my car for several minutes, oh well, it just a fish. On my way home, drove by Aldi, here I go, get 2 pieces of Atlantic Salmon, NEVER been frozen $9/lb, my new place for salmon from now on.

I hope the store owner read this, don't fire the inexperience manager but teach him, especially the math , next time, DON'T try to save $4, $5 because of store mistake ! It will turn out store will lose much more (customers), bad services will spread I live near Cub, Wholefood, Trader Joe and Byerly, rather spend a little more for better services and RESPECT.

Hey my name is ollie in I am a shipt shopper have been to the store bout 6 times doing shipt orders so last night my 12 year old son wanted to come with me to see what’s it’s like when his mommy is out doing shipt I want to thank the lady with the blonde short bob older lady for giving my son the worst experience ever this happened yesterday January 8 2025 when we was checking out around 5.00 5:30 I was coming up to her to ask a question about a item this lady was kind of Guarding the door as if I was bout to run out with the shopping cart than it was so many other people at the register white people of course in I seen a black man in the lane in front of me ringing his stuff up this lady made us feel so uncomfortable she was watching me the whole time of was ringing up items my 12 year old son said mom why this lady watching just us in nobody else I said son I come here all the time shopping for people never have I ever felt this way I’m usually in this store early in the day everytime I look up there she was watching my every move like we was going to take something I hate that my son had to experience this at your store this lady stay by us the whole time doing the ring up at the register she went in helped a couple people in I needed her help when something didn’t ring up right at the register but we was basically the only black people at this point in time in this store I felt I was racially profiled in stereotype you guys need to tell this lady this behavior is unacceptable I should feel comfortable in wanted in welcome when I come in the store than it was 4 workers on the floor that I ask for help the girl by the fruit was amazing she helped me find items no problem the tall man on the floor putting up fruits in vegetables he helped me also no problem than I get in the back of the store by the freezer asking for help the 2 young boys was trying to help but they was kind of lazy I ask for the basil dip that the shipt customer wanted he said the Asian boy in white boy with red hair said let me go check in the back came out seconds later in said no we don’t have that in stock but if they didn’t know the location of the item I rather them say that than just flat out lie but I eventually found it myself because I ask the lady who was watching us the whole time she pointed to the area in I went to locate the item so I had a little of a hard time finding items because I felt some worker didn’t even want to help they was just saying anything the 2 boys on the floor by the freezer so I just found the item on my own the best I can I just want you guys to handle this situation because next time I come in the store in she is there in she do it again I will say something to her I didn’t want to do that in front of my son
But thanks older lady with the short blonde bob for the worst worst experience ever for my boy how would you like if somebody did you in your grandson or son that way I don’t think you will like it at all

Update: I’ve witnessed a food safety violation more than once. I wouldn’t recommend buying perishable items here any longer.
This place had replaced Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods as my favorite grocery store. I have been coming since it opened. The quality in both customer service and products has declined drastically.
On multiple occasions I’ve accidentally bought expired products, one even expired by more than 1 year. Quality of produce can be really hit or miss.
There are a handful of really nice employees, but overall customer service is lacking. Today I had a very unfortunate experience where I very much felt racially profiled, all over a coupon. Please do better

Cauliflower charged by the pound rather then by the head.... Who does that? If your gonna charge by the pound then cut off the green stem. This is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard of and will not be shopping there again.

Aldi has Cauliflower for $2.99 for a whole head, I recommend shopping there.

Went to get a couple pounds of lunch meat from the deli, 4;30 pm, she said sorry counter closes at 4:30. It was exactly 4:30, what a joke, are they that hard up for help they have only deli person that closes in the middle of the day. Plenty of other choices in the area
