This was the first time staying at the Fairfield inn in Gainesville, but first impressions were always good as Ginger was very welcoming even though we interrupted her dinner lol!!!

The room was very nice, clean and tidy.
The morning's breakfast however, was a little suspect. My wife was briefly scolded by the lady that was putting the food out for how she was making her chocolate chip waffle. Unfortunately, we didn't know the etiquette on when to add the chocolate chips but the lady sure let us know.
The same lady was also upset on how she was using the tongs to put the breakfast sandwiches in the container to keep warm so she decided yeet the tongs and use her hand instead, straight raw dog style. No glove, no love. Ifkyk
The tiles in the elevator were basically all smashed over the years and could use a little bit of love. The bathroom in our room could have used a little bit of updating as you could see where somebody really didn't care that day when they were making some fixes we'll just say.
Other than that, the beds were comfortable, however, you can hear all of the trucks going up and down the highway. So if you're looking for silence it ain't there.

Breakfast what was there at 8am this morning see pictures was aweful and the lady who was preparing breakfast was coughing so badly!! The bed was comfortable but definitely outdated rooms.

It's a great place to stay and always clean and quiet.
The whole staff is great. A big thank you to Vanessa, Jill, and especially Ginger she's
absolutely extraordinary.

Stayed 1 night. 8/9/24. Due to my wife's work, she is a lifetime titanium elite marriott member. We have stayed in a few marriott properties to say the least. This is a very nice hotel. Clean rooms, great breakfast but what makes this an awesome hotel is Ginger!!!! She is THE best!!!! Most helpful, friendliest front desk agent we have ever encountered in thousands of hotel stays. Give her a raise!!!

Tile is cracked on the floors, esp. in the elevator and in the bathroom in my room. Toilets are mounted way too low to ground like for a child with no grab bars to help you up. The free breakfast was gross. At least at the Hilton garden inn they can crack and scramble some eggs, give you bacon that isn’t that microwaveable boxed one and make a pot of oatmeal. People above me stomped all night, barely got sleep. Subfloors and walls were probably done cheaply like the tile job throughout the hotel. No business center or area where you can sit comfortably and check emails tucked away. Instead tiny nook in lobby hallway

Booked a room with points. Was told 20 dollar hold which is reasonable. Charged me twice plus on dollar. My free night ended up costing me 81 dollars. Scam don’t go here

Construction makes access a bit of work. Everything is ok here. Public bathroom on the first floor was not well maintained.
