I appeared for the test and got an auto email stating that I should be able to check my test results instantly after creating a profile and logging in.
I created the profile and have logged in at least 10 times, it has been 7 days the test result says "Coming soon", though my application has already been rejected by the organization I had applied with apparently because I didn't clear this test.
I'm confused now.

Het lijkt een mooi testprogramma, maar de vragen zijn ge"copy-pasted" uit het engels en vaak slecht vertaald. Ook kloppen sommige vragen inhoudelijk niet. Ik heb 2x geprobeerd feedback hierop te geven. Maar je krijgt alleen een hele slechte bot te pakken.

Do not purchase.

As the owner of an engineering firm we had hoped this would work for us. It tested well when compared to other platforms and seems like a great idea.

However, there are three flaws with this software.
1) The results are posted but the potential employees answers are not shown
2) The correct answers are not provided to discuss with the employee.
3) As a result of 1 and 2 there is little to no value in the engineering or aptitude tests.
4) There is no way to add questions to the tests, or remove irrelevant questions.

To add insult to injury, our HR staff was assured 1-2 months test of the full software via online chat. Now they won't give a refund or help. Similar reviews here of this company.

Man, they are Dutch, as I am, thought they would be honest, but this just seems like thievery.

It tests speed, not accuracy. The way the questions are phrased takes more than one pass at a question to actually understand what it means and then some time to think about a response, oh wait! The time has elapsed.
I don't think the questions are formulated by a leaving a breathing human being + it doesn't test accuracy and problem solving, it tests speed and lucky clicks?
After going through a test like this I'll think twice if an employer sends me anything of the sort, as it's a time waster.
Note: I received the test for wrong role as well, than the one I applied for with the company - so that's also sloppy on test Gorilla's part.

CAUTION! FRAUDULENT BILLING PRACTICES!

Unauthorized Plan Change Attempt:
On November 4, 2024, they unilaterally attempted to change our account from an agreed monthly fee of $130 to an $18,000 per year plan by sending an email notice to an assistant who was not authorized to accept or effect contractual modifications.

Explicit Rejection:
On November 27, 2024, I provided a clear and unequivocal written rejection of the proposed plan change. At that time, our TestGorilla account had been deactivated due to our failure to agree to the proposed new plan—which I had not seen and which was sent to an unauthorized recipient.

Subsequent Reactivation and Unauthorized Billing:
Following my explicit rejection, they reactivated our TestGorilla account and initiated new billing without our consent.

Unauthorized Charges:
On February 4, 2025, you processed charges totaling $11,000 without authorization.

You guys put a lot of effort into your fake spam reviews and getting negative reviews erased - it's astonishing, really. No one finds it strange that there are so many 5 star reviews with no other reviews? These are blatantly clear fake accounts. Bravo for manipulating the system to this level, scamming your customers, and being a very non-transparent, disingenuous company!

Can't wait for your generic, regurgitated cut and paste follow up response telling me to reach out to your "team" and ending in "all the best!"

We use the platform now for a longer period and it looks like we are some early adopters. But the customer service experience is really a pain!

A good Customer Service Experience seems to be the last choice for Testgorilla. They simply do not care about it. Many Bugs and in the meanwhile they simply dropped tests on which you built your organisational needed assessments.
Let us start with Bugs:
Bugs during assessments, in that way that candidates cannot read any text (they are simply go away). Text Input fields magically get deleted (yes from testgorilla during you type!) and many more bugs.
A top of it we had already multiple outages of tests, assessments or the full cloud environment.
Guess what, you cannot call anyone, nor you get any supportive agent during such outages to inform your candidates if we shall reschedule or wait for getting back in service.
If you report the issues, you always have the feeling you are a annoying client.
Now they dropped tests, but they do not communicate that they dropped tests and even more you as a customer have to fiddle out what they dropped. Luckily as a organization, you can simply adopt to tests, which are not having any replacements *ironic*
Honestly, can you count on a assessment tool, which drop your needed tests without any replacement tests?
Also the communication is a big matter of improvement: They simply terminate your assessments, without any details about what tests are dropped. Not even any details which are the replacement tests. The funny thing is, that they clearly name your the affected assessments. But they leave you in the dark about what tests and what are the replacements (if any are available).
But you, as a annoying client, have to check what tests have dropped and you have to ask the crystal bowl to find the replacement tests.
We use the platform already longer time and are about to search for alternative, as of the bad customer service experience. Still today we have about 10 reported bugs without any reasonable update on them. Multiple outages during assessments, of course without anything helpful for us or anything helpful for the candidates.

Also the ticket system is so crappy that you cannot reference other tickets or reopen them to tell, that the bug/ticket is not fixed. You always have to open new tickets. And if the first level support is not willing to help they simply close the ticket. No info, nothing from these agents!

It seems the attitude:
- you, annoying client, plz do not ask for help on testgorilla
- it is annoying for us to give you helpful hands to our application
- and of course you have to pay for the service but you cannot expect a good customer experience in terms of smooth and reliable usage
